I'd send them somewhere cold so that when they come back they get the BENEFIT of the warmer temperatures in the UK in February.
Not keen on players knowing that if they lose in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup they go on a JOLLY to Dubai.
Either send them for some cold weather training to get some ice on their backs. Or sign them all up for a week working the 6am shift in a Sports Direct warehouse.
I predict a massive improvement in performances.

Don't forget the marvellous ''sun on their backs''

I fucking hate that one.

I always find the pictures hat emerge on these trips brilliant too with their shifty captions

'Players enjoying the sun'
'A hard earned break from the winter'

Poor little multi fucking millionaires, they really do deserve their free first class trip abroad that they only have room for because they bent over for Man City in the cup

To be fair to Lady Brady she said much the same about these team bonding exercises. She said iirc, that she always came back from them with more enemies than friends...

In her case amongst a load of bitches it is not too hard to imagine! I do wonder about some of the cliques that form on these junkets though...

I also find it odd that when a team plays abroad in Europe they use all the travelling fatigue as a reason why it's challenging and yet flying to Dubai and back isn't an issue at all.

It's total bollocks - it's never made any improvement to results (unless we'd have been more shit everybseqson withiut them of course)

maybe I am wrong?? But the way I remember it every time they take one of these warm weather breaks the results are rubbish afterwards.Cold showers and army training camps would be better.

Probably tax deductible for the Daves
Looked like they saw Bournemouth as another holiday to take it easy as well yesterday

Re: 1 point from 9 since the Dubai holiday
I also don’t get the bonding nonsense the trip was also about either, but it seems to be the buzz word and thing to do ATM, most of the first team squad have been together for quite a while now and no doubt have formed there own little groups and cliques within it, a jolly in Dubai won’t change that.

At work they did it, all the idea of some HR twat to boost morale and promote a team environment, we all went on this days activities, rope climbing and group games, at the end of the day the people you think are cunts are still cunts and nothing changes, the free bar at the end was nice though.

Every man and his dog knows that these trips are a farce and makes FUCK ALL difference to results, yet we still have our intelligence insulted every year by telling us that it helps.

Fucking wankers.

In fact hasn't every team that did this this season come back and been shit?

And yet fat Sam had his trip blocked by palace and then they beat West Brom...

Re: 1 point from 9 since the Dubai holiday
Surely if you need warm weather training you need it when playing in a warm climate, not an English winter???

Should send them on a weeks cold weather training on a remote Scottish island if we get an early cup exit and free weekend next season.

One, we never seem to have improved when we come back, and Two seems to be the reward for getting knocked out of the Cup, then lets not forget the cost of it all.

It's fashionable for clubs like us. Makes us look big time.

Common sense says it would have been a lot cheaper and more constructive pysically and mentally to have simply kept them here for extra training sessions.

Just a jolly up, and bit of PR, innit.

We hadn't even recovered from the pre season to America.

Allardyce's innovation, wasn't it?

Warm weather training several months before we're at all likely to see warm weather, the work of a statistics mastermind
